In match no. 12 of IPL 2025, Mumbai Indians faced Kolkata Knight Riders. In this match played at Wankhede Stadium, Ashwini Kumar created history. Ashwini took 4 wickets giving 24 runs in 4 overs. Ashwini, who bowls at a speed of 135 kilometres per hour, also bowls a fast yorker.
2- On the first ball of his debut Ashwini took the wicket of Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane. Then he dismissed Rinku Singh, Manish Pandey, Andre Russell. Ashwini Kumar is a left hand fast bowler. He does the best bowing in the death overs. This is not the first time that a bowler has taken a wicket on the first ball in his debut match. Rather this is the 10th time a bowler has achieved this feat. 3- Ashwini Kumar was a part of Punjab Kings in IPL 2024 but he did not get a chance to play even a single match. Ashwini made his debut for Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy in the year 2022. Ashwini played 2 first class, 4 list matches and 4 t20 matches for Punjab. During that time he took 8 wickets. This bowler is the lion of Punjab’s t20 cricket tournament- This Punjab was the highlight of the t20 tournament. He took 4 wickets by giving 36 runs for BLV bowler.
